Description
The Araldite® Repair Epoxy Bar is a hard, long-lasting, solvent-free multipurpose repair putty that is waterproof and can be drilled, filled, painted or sanded. Ideal for bonding or sealing, it will cope with uneven surfaces and is highly recommended for wet applications on metal pipes, tanks and gutters.
It will even hold a repair where you are re-joining parts with stripped threads. Araldite® Repair putty is a real ally for the serious DIY enthusiast and repairman! If you do need a smooth surface finish this can be simply achieved using a damp cloth before hardening.
Simply activate Araldite® Repair putty by kneading it like dough, and it is recommended that you wear gloves. Bonds to most materials. Recommended for metal pipes, tanks, radiators, tools and equipment, guttering and stripped threads. Sets in wet conditions. Water, oil, chemical and impact resistant. High-temperature resistance (-40°C to 120°C).
Delivery & Returns
Availability
In stock means the item is available and can be ordered now. Out of stock means it can't be ordered at the moment; we don't take back orders. For brands we supply on an enquiry basis, such as GEDORE, the page says "Please contact us to confirm availability". You can still order, and we'll be in touch to confirm before dispatch.
Delivery
We work Monday to Friday. In stock items are dispatched within 2 to 3 working days (orders placed before 3pm count from that day), then sent with DPD or Royal Mail on a next working day service, so most orders arrive within 3 to 4 working days.
Delivery is a flat £7.14 inc VAT (£5.95 ex VAT) per order to mainland UK, however many items you buy. Highlands and islands postcodes are £11.99 inc VAT (£9.99 + VAT), see the postcode list. We don't deliver to Northern Ireland.
Returns
Changed your mind? You have 14 days from delivery to cancel, and we refund you within 14 days of getting the item back or proof you've sent it, including the original delivery charge. You pay the return postage. If an item is faulty or wrong, your legal rights apply and we pay the return postage. See our returns policy for full details.
