Guarantees and Warranties

Warranty & Guarantee Policy

We only supply products from trusted, reputable manufacturers known for their quality and reliability. While we do not manufacture the goods ourselves, all items sold on this website are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty, subject to their terms and conditions.

What’s Covered

Most products come with a minimum 12-month manufacturer warranty, although certain items or brands may offer extended coverage. Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal use of the product.

What’s Not Covered

The following are generally excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect
  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Normal wear and tear, including consumable parts such as batteries, blades, filters, or accessories
  • Commercial or industrial use (unless the product is expressly intended for such use)
  • Repairs or modifications not carried out by the manufacturer or authorised service agents

Geographic Coverage

Manufacturer warranties apply to products used within the United Kingdom only. Warranty support may not be available for goods exported or used outside the UK.

Return Shipping

Responsibility for return postage costs is determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the issue and the manufacturer’s policy. Please contact us before returning any item under warranty.

Proof of Purchase

To make a warranty claim, you must provide:

  • A copy of your original order confirmation or invoice
  • A clear description of the fault
  • Supporting photographs or video evidence (where appropriate)

How to Make a Claim

To begin a warranty claim, please email our customer support team at support@diytools.com. We will assess the issue and guide you through the next steps. In some cases, you may be referred directly to the manufacturer or an authorised service centre.

Please do not send any items back without prior contact and authorisation, as this may result in delays or items being refused.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose within a reasonable period after purchase.

Future Brand Information

We are currently developing a dedicated warranty section that will provide brand-by-brand details, including registration links and extended warranty information. In the meantime, please get in touch if you require warranty terms for a specific brand.
