Description
- In order to be able to pull stuck shock absorber units out of the steering knuckle clamping bore or suspension joints out of the lower suspension joint mounting without damage, it is absolutely necessary to widen the clamping bore properly with an expanding tool.
- The expansion tool set enables both the suspension strut clamping bore and the lower suspension joint mount on the front axle to be expanded professionally. Required, for example, when changing the spring, the shock absorber and the suspension joint.
- The floating bolts prevent the spreading tool from tilting, and the special spreading wedge with stop prevents the clamping bore from expanding too much.
- This prevents damage to the cast or aluminium steering knuckle housing or other chassis components as a consequence of unprofessional removal and installation attempts.
- Due to the variably adjustable spreader head, even vehicles with an off-centre clamping slot are no problem!

Availability
In stock means the item is available and can be ordered now. Out of stock means it can't be ordered at the moment; we don't take back orders. Delivery
We work Monday to Friday. In stock items are dispatched within 2 to 3 working days (orders placed before 3pm count from that day), then sent with DPD or Royal Mail on a next working day service, so most orders arrive within 3 to 4 working days.
Delivery is a flat £7.14 inc VAT (£5.95 ex VAT) per order to mainland UK, however many items you buy. Highlands and islands postcodes are £11.99 inc VAT (£9.99 + VAT), see the postcode list. We don't deliver to Northern Ireland.
Returns
Changed your mind? You have 14 days from delivery to cancel, and we refund you within 14 days of getting the item back or proof you've sent it, including the original delivery charge.
