Description
These ForgeFix Plastic Expansion Wall Plugs are an extremely popular all-purpose lightweight fixing. They are colour coded for size.
The anti-rotation moulding at the head of the plug improves the holding power when inserted. It provides a cost-effective solution for lightweight fixing applications. When a screw is inserted, the screwing action wedges the plug firmly in place, the soft material conforming tightly to the wall.
The wall plugs are suitable for most types of threaded screws, including multipurpose, general-purpose, coach screws etc. Not suitable for Machine Screw threads.
Conveniently supplied on a sprue.
The Forgefix Plastic Red Wall Plughas the following specification:
Screw Size: No.6-8 (3.5-4mm)
Drill Size: 5mm.
Pack Size: 1000 (10 x 100).

In stock means the item is available and can be ordered now. Out of stock means it can't be ordered at the moment; we don't take back orders. For brands we supply on an enquiry basis, such as GEDORE, the page says "Please contact us to confirm availability". You can still order, and we'll be in touch to confirm before dispatch.

We work Monday to Friday. In-stock items are dispatched within 2 to 3 working days (orders placed before 3pm count from that day), then sent by tracked courier on a next working day service (DPD, Royal Mail, DHL Parcel UK, DX, FedEx, UPS or XPO, depending on the size and weight), so most orders arrive within 3 to 4 working days.
Delivery is a flat £7.14 inc VAT (£5.95 ex VAT) per order to mainland UK, however many items you buy. Highlands and islands postcodes are £11.99 inc VAT (£9.99 + VAT). See the postcode list. We don't deliver to Northern Ireland.
