International Shipping Policy
At The Tool & Gauge Company (UK) Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), we proudly serve customers around the globe. Whether you prefer to nominate your own freight forwarder or want us to arrange shipping on your behalf, we offer flexible, transparent solutions tailored to your business or personal needs.

Global Coverage
We offer international shipping to most countries worldwide using a wide network of reliable carriers, including DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, DPD, Aramex, Royal Mail, and others. Both standard and express delivery options are available, with door-to-door service where supported by the destination and chosen carrier.

Customers may also choose to arrange their own logistics. We support both collection and delivery to freight forwarders, with handling available from our UK dispatch location at UB3 1BB. If using a third-party freight forwarder, written authorisation and any relevant documentation must be provided in advance.

Shipping Options
At checkout, customers can choose between standard (economy) and express shipping options. Where applicable, tracking numbers are always provided once your parcel has been dispatched.

Dispatch Times
Orders are typically dispatched within 2 to 3 working days. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or UK public holidays.

Freight Forwarders
If you opt to use your own freight forwarder, you must provide written authorisation and any required VAT or customs documentation in advance. Please note, once goods are collected by or delivered to your freight forwarder, liability for the shipment passes to you. We are not responsible for any loss, delay, damage, or customs issues that occur thereafter.

Duties, Taxes & Customs
All international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means the recipient is responsible for paying any applicable import duties, local VAT/GST, brokerage fees, or other customs-related charges. We provide accurate commercial invoices and HS codes to facilitate customs clearance.

Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated based on parcel size, weight, destination, and carrier rates. We quote and charge at our direct carrier cost price. We do not currently offer free international shipping.

Insurance
Standard international shipments are not insured. If you require transit insurance, this must be arranged in advance and will incur an additional charge.

Lost or Delayed Shipments
While we work with reliable global carriers, transit delays may occasionally occur. Industry-standard claims procedures apply for lost or significantly delayed shipments. If your shipment is delayed or does not arrive, please contact us promptly so we can investigate with the carrier.

Restricted or Hazardous Items
Some products we sell may be subject to international shipping restrictions — including aerosols, lithium batteries, and tools containing fuel or gas. We will notify you if your order includes any such items and advise on alternative shipping methods where possible.
