Designed for taking comparative measurements and transferring the dimensions to a micrometer, Vernier calliper or precision rule. Manufactured from high grade steel with a a spring joint for precision settings. Adjustments are made by opening and closing of legs via an adjusting nut. Divider points are hardened to 50-55HRC for increased wear resistance.
