- This two-part alternator combination socket allows for the easy removal and installation of the freewheel pulley when replacing an alternator or a pulley. Since the pulley cannot be counter-held from the outside while slackening or tightening the central nut, the Torx T50 socket insert bit is needed to counter-hold the pulley shaft during the loosening process.
