- This two-part alternator combination socket allows for the easy removal and installation of the freewheel pulley when replacing an alternator or a pulley. Since the pulley cannot be counter-held from the outside while slackening or tightening the central nut, the pulley shaft needs to be locked by means of the 10mm XZN multi-spline insert bit during the loosening process.
